A Retired U.S. Navy Family
Our story comes from generations of service across two families, and 20-years of service in this family. Entering bootcamp for the U.S. Navy in 1996, and retiring in 2022 our family has been together for over 15-years of service supporting each other. Multiple deployments, tours at sea, and countless nights apart our family survived strong. From ranching in Oklahoma, to more then 25-years of working in the defense community supporting some of our nations most critical missions pre, and post 9/11 and beyond Covid.
Seeking a change having done our duty as a family after retirement, The Crow's Nest was conceived in 2024 when our family took his love of diving, sailing and the Navy, and our combined love of social entertainment and wanting to go out on more dates as a married couple and went right over the ledge. Bringing a new unique dream we never thought possible to life. Choosing to give our children a life outside of the normal, where our love of diving, sailing, the ocean, adventure and facing a new challenge was more fulfilling then continuing to work in the rat race of higher paying jobs.

All with the twist of our love of St. Thomas and the USVI. A diverse, colorful, lively culture, with an epic story, background, myths, legends and a community of good people that are apart of America's story and heritage.
